Sport
St Francis Sport was established in 2006, when founder Eric Stewart and a few friends came up with the idea to host an annual Summer Series during the December season.
Building on this foundation, the main sporting events hosted annually in and around St Francis Bay and Cape St Francis are the St Francis Sport Summer Series, the Chokka Trail Run, the Baviaans Mountain Marathon and the Winter Walk.
Hiking
Baviaans 2 Bay Adventures prides themselves to offer supported, guided and catered hiking holidays, the Chokka Trail in St Francis Bay and the Baviaans Camino in the Baviaanskloof and Kouga Mountains.
We also included two shorter hikes that can be done unsupported: the Kouga Baviaans Hike in the Nooitgedacht Area, and the Geelhoutboom Hike just outside Kirkwood.
Cycling
Enjoy the hospitality of the Baviaans farmers with the Baviaans Cycle Tour, where you cycle from farm to farm over 5 nights and 5 days. The beautiful restored farmhouse on the farm Nagtegaalsfontein is home to the 3 day Pink Hill Karoo Cycling Holiday, just outside Colesberg. Interested in traversing the Baviaanskloof? Then the Baviaanskloof Traverse is the one for you, and can be custom designed according to group size and fitness levels.
Voetwol
Our merchandize boasts designs of the well known South African artist, Hanlie Kotze.
Voetwol is South African Merino sheep's wool, washed and combed, that prevents and protects blisters.
Also part of the range is hiking pants, cycle shirts and hoodies.
